Welcome to Nothing But A Footprint!
We are Annette and Nicole, a mother-daughter duo looking to give you a glimpse into our lives and how we strive to live eco friendly, zero waste and sustainably. This encompasses simple life changes like eating a plant based diet, limiting waste production, shopping at funky vintage and thrift stores — and anything in between!
Annette, mother of the Browning household, has run her own blog, FiberArtsy.com, for ten years, which shares fiber art, crochet and knitting, crafts and DIY tutorials. She has always been passionate about the planet, plants, animals and gardening, and has eaten a plant based diet since 2017. She is an avid mushroom hunter and cooks up some sinfully good wild mushrooms for her hungry family (sorry, mom).
Nicole, daughter, has recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and German from Northern Kentucky University. She has always loved animals and struggled to maintain a vegetarian diet for years, finally finding success in 2019 being a pescatarian with hopes to one day eat totally vegan or plant based. She loves to write what she knows and is excited to apply her passion for sustainability to her writing skills and everyday life.
Thank you for visiting Nothing But A Footprint. We are so happy to have you and we’re excited share what we do in our daily lives. If you’ve ever walked through a campsite and seen a sign that says, “take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but a footprint,” you’ll understand our mantra is to minimize that (carbon) footprint as much as we can, and leave no trash, damage or cruelty along with our footsteps.
